HiFi 3D was the exclusive VFX house for IF YOU WERE THE LAST, creating over 300 VFX shots for this sci-fi romantic comedy. HiFi 3D blended CG, stop-motion, and painted backgrounds to create a unique, mixed-media aesthetic. Stop-motion animation by Acho Studio.

Described by DEADLINE as “an astronaut will-they-won't-they” the film is directed by Kristian Mercado and stars Anthony Mackie and Zoë Chao. The film premiered at SXSW 2023, and is streaming on Peacock now!
